Red, White, and Blue

During the week of November 4th, we learned about veterans.

Therefore, Friday's chapel service
on November 8th was especially meaningful.

We honored our veterans.

We learned many things from our guest speaker,
Mr. Tommy Worthey.

We listened to New Song sing patriotic songs.

We watched the presentation of the five armed forces flags
and heard a medley of their respective songs.

We enjoy so many precious freedoms every day
in America because of the sacrifice of our veterans.

We say, "Thank you! You are our heroes!"
God bless America!

Shop Till You Drop!

On Wednesday, our wonderful PDS-PTF sponsored the AR Store!
We loved "spending" the points we've earned taking Accelerated Reading quizzes.

It's 'back to the books' for us!

Howdy, Partner!

We always look forward to the PDS BBQ and Hoe-down!
Creating cowboys and cowgirls
for our hallway display was just the beginning...

Of course, we practiced our square dance for several weeks.

On the day of the hoedown, we even had a school-wide rehearsal.
It was fun to watch everyone practice their dances one last time.

When school was over, we headed home
and changed into our Western attire!
A few hours later - - we returned to school.

We looked g-o-o-o-o-o-o-d!
